Brains.
I'm heading off on vacation today, so I'll be out of internet communication for about a week. Inspired by Sideways, and its depiction of California's lovely wine country, I'm taking a tour of California's lesser known but just as beautiful brain country.
And where exactly is brain country? Anywhere I say it is!

If you're in to raw, bloody brains, go for the Syrah... Pinot Noir is not good with Brains...
But a nice Fume Blanc would be a superb finish to a 4-course brain extravaganza.
I'm watching you Zombie Tom....verrrrrry closely.
Dear Zombie Tom,
I'm curious - and if you've covered this, I sincerely apologize - but if you had a brain, would you eat it?
Also, brains are rather fatty. Do you find that you have trouble keepin the weight off?
Tom, be honest: Did you spend your entire vacation in the theater watching "Land Of The Dead"?
For when you get back. Now you can have a pet!!!

G_i_i_A, Roxy: the Syrah is always nice (I actually prefer the Australian variant, Shiraz), but more often than not recently I find myself enjoying a tasty beer with my brains. Pyramid's Apricot Ale in particular helps bring out the flavor of a nice raw brain.
Zombiekiller: You know that restraining order is still in effect. Don't make me sic the law on you.
Anon: The hole in my stomach helps me shed those unwanted calories. It sure leaves me hungry, though. For brains.
Norbert: I have yet been unable to see the final chapter of the Master's Dead teralogy (that's right, I said tetralogy) for reasons I may post about tomorrow. But soon, I assure you!
HP: Zombies have come a long way, baby.
Shane: thanks for the link to the pet adoption agency!
Restraining orders? I don't need no stinking restraining orders...
Mmmm...I sure do have some tasty brains sitting here in front of me...
